
A juvenile was shot early Saturday morning in northeast Denver, according to police.

The shooting happened near East 36th Avenue and Columbine Street, police said.
The victim, a male, was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. He’s expected to recover from the shooting, police said. An investigation is ongoing. Police did not immediately release information on a suspect or whether anyone was arrested.
