Police seek help identifying woman found dead in South Shore

A 53-year-old woman was found dead Tuesday on the street in the 7400 block of South Clyde Avenue, police said.

Chicago police are investigating the death of a woman who was found Tuesday in South Shore.

About 7 a.m., a 53-year-old woman was found dead on the street in the 7400 block of South Clyde Avenue, Chicago police said. She is about 5-foot-3 and 200 pounds.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details on her death.

Anyone with information that may help identify the woman is asked to call Major Accident Investigation detectives at 312-742-4521.
