Stranahan’s Original Single Malt Colorado Whiskey Is Back

Following Stranahan's continued success with coveted bottles like Snowflake and Mountain Angel 10 Year in 2020, the pioneering purveyor of American single malts is permanently bringing back the whiskey that started it all.  The Denver-based distillery is rotating Original back into its core lineup in honor of the expression that launched Stranahan's 15 years ago. Featuring a blend of four-, five-, six- and seven-year aged whiskies, the younger barrels provide a malt-forward character, while the older barrels add spice and oak to create a complex flavor profile.  Stranahan's Original will be available nationwide at liquor stores that carry the brand, but two distillery-exclusive spirits have also been announced at the 15-year milestone. Kicking off the aptly named Distillery Exclusives ser...

Travis Barker Tags Kourtney Kardashian In NSFW Sex Post On Instagram

Travis Barker is done keeping it PG while talking about girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian. In a recent photo he shared of himself playing the drums, the Blink-182 member included a very NSFW caption that was definitely about the reality star. “All day I dream about sex w/ you,” the drummer wrote. He also tagged Kardashian in the post, proving that subtlety isn’t his strong suit. While nothing could’ve prepared us for Barker’s unexpected and steamy caption, the 45-year-old drummer has made it very clear in recent weeks that his relationship with the Poosh founder is serious. It’s also likely that this is not the only tattoo that Barker has gotten in Kardashian’s h

The hottest number in conservation is rooted more in politics than science

Amanda Northrop/VoxThe goal to protect 30 percent of the Earth is more arbitrary than you might think. Right now, in the conservation movement, a lot of people are fixated on a single number: 30. The US and more than 50 other countries have pledged to conserve 30 percent of their land and water by 2030 as a means to help thwart the biodiversity crisis. Biodiversity tends to increase with the area of land or water conserved, yet just 16 percent of global land is in protected areas today (in the US, it’s closer to 12 percent), according to the World Database on Protected Areas. Intact ecosystems also play a major role in mitigating climate change. As conservationists have recognized the importance of protecting rich ecosystems before they’re bulldozed, drained, deforested, or abandoned, “30

Tucker Carlson is repeatedly using his platform to downplay white supremacy and violence, critics say

Summary List PlacementIn the wake of the January 6 Capitol riot, America's conservative movement faced a reckoning.  Rep. Liz Cheney, a leading voice on the GOP's moderate wing, called on Republicans to "make clear that we aren't the party of white supremacy." She pushed her party to reject the ideology espoused by some of the Donald Trump supporters who had attacked the seat of US democracy.  Yet on Fox News' top-rated show, "Tucker Carlson Tonight," the host went on to take a very different approach. Carlson has sought to downplay the threat from white nationalism, while also, say critics, continuing to push white nationalist narratives about migration and liberal elites.  In comments on his show last week Carlson appeared to endorse the white nationalist Great Replacement conspiracy ...
