The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to review security camera footage for suspicious activity after three residential burglaries in Emerald Hills and Portola Valley this week.
Law enforcement officials are investigating recent burglaries on the 300 block of Golden Oak Avenue, the 200 block of Scenic Drive and the 3800 block of Woodland Way and are working to determine if the cases are connected.
The break-in on Golden Oak Avenue occurred around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, when suspects forced entry into an unoccupied home. The following evening, deputies responded to an attempted burglary on Scenic Drive, where suspects entered the rear of a residence while the victim was home. One hour later, deputies responded to Woodland Way, where multiple suspects broke into another home and stole valuables.
The total loss at all three crime scenes is still being determined.
