Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are adding another major collaboration to their growing list of off-the-field ventures. Ahead of the Chiefs’ critical Week 11 matchup against the Denver Broncos, the couple announced a new partnership with WHOOP, a health and performance company known for its wearable fitness technology.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes Launch WHOOP Collaboration
The Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback and his wife revealed their latest joint project on Instagram: a custom WHOOP band collection celebrating “performance and partnership.”
“New His & Hers custom bands celebrating partnership, performance, and purpose,” the company’s Instagram caption read, alongside a photo of Patrick and Brittany posing with their new designs. “Available for you and yours, now.”
WHOOP’s devices monitor everything from heart rate and recovery to sleep patterns and stress levels, providing data-backed insights to help athletes and everyday users maximize performance. “It delivers superior accuracy and scientifically-backed insights for anyone looking to optimize performance,” the brand states on its website.
Fans immediately flooded the comments with supportive messages. “They look good together,” one follower wrote, while another added, “Awesome couple and parents — love them!”
The Mahomes Stayed Busy and During Bye Week
Even during the Chiefs’ Week 10 bye, the Mahomes family stayed in the spotlight. Brittany joined her husband in Lubbock, Texas, as he appeared as a guest picker on ESPN’s “College GameDay.” The two watched Patrick’s alma mater, Texas Tech, hand BYU their first loss of the season.
Brittany, a former professional soccer player, continues to expand her own sports portfolio as co-owner of the Kansas City Current. She founded the team alongside Chris and Angie Long, with Patrick joining as a co-owner in January 2023.
Under the Mahomes’ ownership, the Current became the first National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) team to sell out every home game in 2024. They also opened CPKC Stadium — the first purpose-built stadium in the world dedicated to a women’s sports team. Despite a record-breaking regular season, the Current’s playoff hopes ended in disappointment after a loss to Gotham FC on Sunday, November 9, with QB1 watching from the stands.
Chiefs Focused on Rebounding Against the Broncos
The Chiefs enter their Week 11 game against the Denver Broncos with their postseason hopes on the line. Kansas City sits at 5-4 after a 28-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills, a result that dropped them out of AFC playoff position.
“There’s no easy game coming up, and there’s no more chances that we can really take losses,” Mahomes said after the game. “We’ve got to learn from it fast, and we’ve got to be better as a team offensively. We’ll continue to push and be ready to play our best football coming off the bye.”
Meanwhile, the 8-2 Broncos have won seven straight and lead the AFC West. Denver pass rusher Nik Bonitto summed up the stakes heading into Sunday’s showdown: “This division’s been run by the Chiefs for so many years now. If we’re going to be that team to win the division and reach our goals, we have to go through them and beat them.”
