Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’s prison sentence has reportedly been extended as outlets have reported that he has been caught breaking prison rules.

The disgraced music mogul, 56, faced a trial earlier this year after being charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He denied all allegations and pleaded not guilty, but was eventually sentenced to the two charges of transportation for prostitution.

Combs was then sentenced to four years and two months in jail at the low-security prison Fort Dix in New Jersey. He also received a $500,000 (£371k) fine.

It has now been reported that he is set to serve more time behind bars as his prison release date has been bumped back an extra month.

Page Six reported that he was set to leave prison on May 8, 2028, but his release has now been pushed to June 4, 2028.

While it is unclear why his sentence has been extended, multiple outlets have reported on the star’s alleged poor behaviour behind bars.

TMZ revealed last week that the disgraced rapper had been caught drinking.

The outlet reported that he drank homemade alcohol made from Fanta, sugar and apples, which inmates leave to ferment for two weeks into an alcoholic substance.

On November 10, his management denied these claims on his X profile: ‘The rumors claiming Mr. Combs was caught with alcohol are completely false.

‘His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family.’

Prior to his sentencing, Combs had told the court he was sober for the first time in 25 years, and suggested substance abuse was behind his previous actions.

His publicist, Juda Engelmayer, also told NBC News that he is committed to sobriety, along with his own personal healing.

He’s since secured a job working in the prison chapel, is enrolled in a drug rehabilitation program that could see his sentence reduced by a year and also started his own class to teach other inmates how to be entrepreneurs at the prison.

‘His sobriety and self-discipline are priorities, and he is taking them seriously,’ she said. ‘He works in the chapel library, where he describes the environment as warm, respectful and rewarding.’

It was also reported by CBS News last week that Combs was reprimanded after taking part in a prohibited three-way phone call. According to prison documents, Combs claimed that he had not been informed about the regulations on phone calls.

This comes just days after Combs was unrecognisable in a prison mugshot. He now sports grey hair on both his head and face.

His appearance is a far cry from the polished look he was known for in his heyday. The performer – who was once estimated to be worth $400million (£304million) – was regularly seen wearing designer suits and sunglasses, with dark hair on stage and red carpets.
