Webpage created to update public on prosecution of chiropractor accused of secretly filming patients

The Kane County state’s attorney’s office has created a webpage to provide updates on its prosecution of a Batavia chiropractor who is accused of secretly videotaping undressed patients.

It also announced Monday that it believes Dr. David Hanson acted alone, saying there is no evidence indicating his relatives or employees of Hanson Family Chiropractic were aware of, or involved with, the crimes he is accused of committing.

The dedicated webpage is at sao.kanecountyil.gov/Pages/Hanson.aspx.

The state’s attorney’s office has received more than 1,500 calls and emails to a tip line dedicated to potential victims.

Hanson was arrested in early November. He is charged with producing child pornography, disseminating child pornography, possessing child pornography and unauthorized video recording of a minor through/under the clothes.
