‘1000-lb Sisters’: Tammy and Andrea Deny DV Allegations

<p id=”par-2_21″>On Monday, the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/1000-lb-sisters-tammy-amy-slaton-sibling-dynamic-zodiac-signs.html/”><em>1000-lb Sisters </em>stars</a> took to <a href=”https://www.tiktok.com/@tammy.l.slaton/video/7690606995321163038?lang=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TikTok</a> to share a video addressing concerns that Tammy was abusing her wife-to-be. </p>

<p id=”par-3_25″>“I know I don’t have to do this, but I’m going to. I going to address the issues of me apparently beating Andrea,” Tammy said. </p>

<p id=”par-4_5″>Andrea backed up Tammy’s denial. </p>

<p id=”par-5_15″>“She’s not beating me,” Andrea said. She also said that she was not abusing Tammy.</p>

<p id=”par-6_41″>“I would never hit Tammy. I would never hit anybody,” she said. “Like, I’m just not that type of person. And I hope you guys understand that. … neither one of us are gonna beat the hell out of each other.”</p>

<p id=”par-7_49″>In the current season of <em>1000-lb Sisters, </em>some viewers have been alarmed by Tammy’s controlling and possessive behavior <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/1000-lb-sisters-star-tammy-slaton-perfect-match-zodiac-signs.html/”>toward her girlfriend</a>. In <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpG4LfAIeaM” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>a clip</a> from the September 29 episode, the pair visit a counselor ahead of their wedding. Andrea confesses that Tammy keeps a close eye on her whereabouts. </p>

<p id=”par-8_39″>“She don’t want me out of her sight,” Andrea says to a producer. “Like when I stand up or something, she’ll be like ‘Where are you going? … [My apartment] is small. I don’t live in no damn mansion.”</p>

<p id=”par-9_17″>In the TikTok, Tammy admitted that she was not in a good place when filming season 9. </p>

<p id=”par-10_44″>“It blows my mind that y’all think I am a beater like that. But anyways, mental health is no joke. And at the time, I was going through a bunch of mental health issues,” she said. “I still am and trying to get better.”</p>

<p id=”par-11_9″>“I’m not beating her,” she added. “She is fine.”</p>
