
The 2025 primetime Emmy nominations have been revealed.
Some of the past seasonâs best shows are going to be recognized on TVâs biggest night while others wonât get the chance to be celebrated.

Whoâs Leading?
Apple TV+âs âSeveranceâ is getting the most recognition with 27 total nods. Not far off is another Apple TV+ show, âThe Studio.â
HBOâs âThe Penguinâ is the second most nominated show with 24 while another HBO series – âThe White Lotusâ – is also getting watched with 23. Not to be missed on the list is yet another HBO show, âThe Last of Us.â Meanwhile, âSaturday Night Liveâsâ 50th anniversary special landed a solid 12 nominations.
HBO is represented a total of 142 times in nominations this year. This beats the networkâs previous record of 140 back in 2022. Netflix still leads with total nominations which it set in 2020 with 160. On the other side, Apple TV+ is not slouching with 79 total nominations.
