<p id=”par-2_92″>July 2025 brings a ton of new content to the streamer’s library. You can revisit small-town football drama when all five seasons of <em>Friday Night Lights </em>return to the service on July 1. <em>Jaws </em>and its sequels swim into the library on July 15. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/feel-good-show-perfect-fans-virgin-river-getting-season-3.html/”>Romantic drama series <em>Sullivan’s Crossing</em></a><em>, </em>quirky sketch comedy series <em>Portlandia, </em>and Starz’s mystery series <em>Hightown </em>will also be available to stream. <p id=”par-3_65″>The second – and final – season of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/the-sandman-complete-guide-cast-characters.html/”><em>The Sandman</em></a><em> </em>finally hits Netflix this July, nearly three years after season 1 debuted. The 12 episodes will drop in three batches and wrap up the story of Dream (Tom Sturridge), who faces one impossible decision after another as he attempts to save himself, his kingdom, and the waking world from the fallout of his past misdeeds. </p>
<p id=”par-4_22″><em>The Sandman </em>Season 2 Episodes 1-6 release on July 3. Episode 7-11 drop on July 24th. Episode 12 releases on July 31.</p>

<p id=”par-5_55″>An elite team of Mexican cops hunt “bad hombres” from north of the border in this inspired-by-a-true-story series. (It’s adapted from a 2022 report in The Washington Post.) The members of the International Liaison Unit face mysteries, suspense, twists, and turns as they are tasked with tracking down American fugitives on the run in Mexico. </p>
<p id=”par-6_55″>The show deliberately challenges “this cliché or idea that Mexico can be a lawless land, where you can escape if you’ve committed a crime,” producer Stacy Perskie told <a href=”https://english.elpais.com/culture/2025-06-11/the-gringo-hunters-a-mexican-border-police-unit-that-deports-criminals-back-to-the-united-states.html”>El País</a>. “It’s interesting that there’s this team that proves otherwise and is dedicated to capturing them and returning them to face the consequences of their crimes.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_86″>Netflix mixes the traditional talent competition format with dating series <em>Love Is Blind</em> in <em>Building the Band.</em> The reality series features talented singers vying for a chance to form the next great music group. But they’ll have to find their perfect bandmate without ever meeting face to face. AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys hosts, and Nicole Scherzinger serves as a mentor and judge. Guest judges include Kelly Rowland and the late Liam Payne. (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/late-one-direction-star-liam-payne-new-netflix-show.html/”>Payne filmed the show</a> not long before his death in October 2024.) </p>

She’s the co-creator and writer of the new rom-com series <em>Too Much, </em>which<em> </em>stars Megan Stalter as Jessica, a New Yorker who flees to London after a painful breakup with the goal of living out her <em>Love, Actually </em>fantasies in real life. Once in the U.K., she connects with slacker indie musician Felix (Will Sharpe). The impressive cast also includes Rhea Perlman, Stephen Fry, Andrew Scott, Rita Wilson, Andrew Rannells, and Richard E. Grant. </p>

As he works to enforce human laws in the wilderness, he’s set on a collision course with his own past. Sam Neill plays the park’s head ranger, and Naya Vasquez plays a rookie park ranger who is more accustomed to life in the city. </p>
