80s Sitcom Star Bravely Opens Up About Scary Accident

Bronson Pinchot, who is well-known for his starring role in the ’80s sitcom Perfect Strangers, took to Instagram on Sunday, Nov. 9, sharing a photo of himself with a very severe facial injury.

In the photo, Pinchot is staring straight at the camera, with the injury mainly surrounding his left eye.

“This is me 24 hours after face-planting on concrete after falling off slippery stairs,” Bronson captioned the post. “This is what it looked like after 20 hours of sleep and an hour of wet compresses with baby shampoo to loosen coagulated blood.

“No I haven’t gone to hospital yet (way too tired for that) yes I will go tomorrow,” he continued. “Didn’t eat or drink til 25th hour cuz too exhausted to order Door Dash & too male to ask for help.”


Bronson Pinchot Updates Fans After Trip to ER

Pinchot shared another update on Instagram shortly after, revealing that he did, in fact, take a trip to the emergency room.

“I have finally succumbed to all the benevolent naggery and gotten myself to ER,” he said, adding that he has been “poked, rotated, made to resist, questioned, made to touch nose.”

He also wrote that “everything good so far” and “nothing hurts,” but the “ship has sailed on scar 🤷‍♂.”

Pinchot then posted a video, telling his fans that he has “No concussion, brain bleeding, facial breakage, etc.”


Fans Send Well-Wishes To Bronson Pinchot

Following his video update, many fans left sweet messages, sending well-wishes to the actor.

“Serge and Bronnie, you are making me cry! 😭 I am so happy you are home. Please make sure you rest, eat and stay hydrated! Please?! 🙏️,” one fan wrote.

“Serge is ok! (As well as all the gang.) And you got a CT. Yay! Bronson, seriously, you are one amazing guy. Who else would find such great humor in the midst of all that trauma? Laughter really is the best medicine. 💊 Now we are so happy, we do the dance of joy! Speedy recovery ❤️,” another fan commented.

“Glad you’re okay, Bronson. The citizens of Mypos need you healthy! 🙏🏻,” a fan said.

One fan also commended Pinchot for going to the emergency room after he scared fans in his first update where he admitted he had yet to go.

“Thank you for going to the ER! I’m very relieved to know you are fine, just a lil banged up. ❤️,” one fan stated.
