An iconic 90s pop star has taken inspiration from one of 2023’s most iconic movies for a music video you won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
For the first time in 12 years, Chesney Hawkes, 52, has released new music and along with it, he is sharing with his fans an X-rated music video.
Inspired by Barry Keoghan’s infamous scene in the Emerald Fennell-directed film Saltburn, in which the Irish actor dances around the Catton family’s estate completely nude, Chesney has ditched his clothes in the name of art.
Sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video for his new single, Get A Hold Of Yourself, which was filmed in the same mansion that Cillian Murphy’s Peaky Blinders character, Thomas Shelby, lived in, the singer looks to be having the time of his life.
Photos shared exclusively with the Daily Mail show the singer grinning as he throws his bare leg over a marble bathtub, while another sees him lying provocatively on a chair.
Speaking to the news outlet, the Here Comes My Baby singer explained his thought process behind the nude shoot, admitting it’s good to ‘let go’ sometimes.

‘It’s good for us all to let go of ourselves sometimes and feel free – especially for me in my 50s… I wanted to show a different side of myself … even if it was my rear side.
‘I jumped on the opportunity for my new video to get naked and dance like nobody was watching! Who wouldn’t in Thomas Shelby’s house!’
But he says that while the single may surprise some fans due to its dance vibe, the accompanying nude music video did not shock his family.
He explained that his wife, Kristina, is used to him taking his clothes off ‘anytime I can’, but their children, Casey, 23, Jesse, 21, and Indi, 18, are convinced he’s having a ‘midlife crisis’.
‘There was a lot of laughter going on and slight embarrassment going on. But they’re cool with it,’ he said.

Other behind-the-scenes photos from the music video show off Chesney’s bare bum as he walks down an impressive staircase in nothing but a fedora on his head.
The pop star first shot to fame in 1991 at the age of 19 when he starred in Buddy’s Song, a film featuring his hit single The One and Only.
Upon its release, the song dominated the UK singles chart for five weeks and prompted the star to release three more hits, including I’m a Man, Not a Boy and Secrets of the Heart.
In the years since, the Berkshire-born musician has starred in TV shows, including ITV’s Hit Me Baby One More Time and Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother, as well as the musical Can’t Smile Without You.

While he has kept a low profile in recent years, he has found popularity once more with both old and new fans after appearing on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show earlier this year.
Discussing his lengthy career recently, he told Rebecca Davison on her My Dirty Laundry Podcast that his ‘crazy’ lifestyle in the 90s saw him burn out from ‘utter exhaustion’.
‘I would be thrown into the hurricane and I’d be gone. And then I’m off to Sweden and then I’m off to New York. I never knew where I was waking up for that first year. It was mental. It was really crazy.’
He continued to say his experience helps him relate to the likes of Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran and warned them to ‘be careful and make sure they don’t burn out’.
