âDancing with the Starsâ contestant Danielle Fishel is bringing â90s nostalgia to the ballroom and making âBoy Meets World” fans’ dreams come true. The actress is reuniting with her former on-screen teacher, William Daniels, for a special performance on the showâs Dedication Night, airing live Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Fishel shared that she and Pashkov will perform a jive to the âBoy Meets World” theme song, calling the tribute âcrazyâ but deeply meaningful. âItâs really a dedication to Bill and the role he has played in my life and the role âBoy Meets Worldâ has played in my life,â she said on the podcast. She told Entertainment Weekly that Daniels continues to motivate her as both a performer and a person. âHe is 98 years old. He was a child actor. Heâs had the most incredible career,â Fishel said. âTo see him at 98 still going to conventions â heâs gonna be on the ballroom floor next week â itâs amazing.â
A Heartfelt Dedication to a Lifelong Mentor
Dedication Night on âDWTS” gives contestants a chance to honor the people whoâve shaped their lives â and for Fishel, that person is her lifelong mentor. âHeâs such an inspiration to so many of us,â she said. âTo be able to say thank you to him and give him this kind of platform for him to receive the love that he deserves is going to be very memorable.â
Fans flooded the âPod Meets Worldâ podcastâs Instagram post confirming the news, which read: âITâS OFFICIAL. NEXT TUESDAY NIGHT. Danielle brings John Adams High to the ballroom for Dedication Night on Dancing with the Stars. Get ready for Fâ¦Fâ¦Fâ¦Feeny.â One user commented, âGiving the people what we want. YESSSSSSS!â while another added, âThis will be a special dance especially for the millennials â¤ï¸ð¥¹.â
Danielsâ wife, actress Bonnie Bartlett Daniels, previously told People that her husband âadores the whole cast of âBoy Meets Worldâ and âmisses that experience with them.â She explained that he thrives on community: âHe likes to be part of a group. Thatâs what really keeps you going.â
Nostalgia and Reunion on the Dance Floor
Daniels, who turned 98 in March, remains an enduring figure for fans of the â90s sitcom. Heâs continued to make appearances at conventions and on the âPod Meets World” podcast with Fishel and co-stars Rider Strong and Will Friedle, celebrating milestones together and revisiting fan-favorite memories.
Fishel hinted that Dedication Night will be even more special, teasing that some of her âBoy Meets World” co-stars will be in the audience. âSome people Iâm shocked are able to be there, but Iâm so happy are able to be there. Itâs gonna be really special,â she said.
For Fishel, returning to television through DWTS has been more than a career milestone â itâs a reflection of how far sheâs come since her Topanga days. âI have really felt like Dancing with the Stars has been a second act for me in my career and as a performer,â she said.
