AEW boss Tony Khan has to make some changes after two wrestlers stormed out after a row over plans for Collision.
The Saturday night show was supposed to feature former WWE superstar Tegan Nox alongside her tag team partner Miranda Alize, who she is in a relationship with in real life.
Tegan, now working as Nixon Newell, and Miranda were set to face Anna Jay and Tay Conti on last night’s event, in what would’ve been the former’s second bout for All Elite Wrestling.
However, it’s reported they disagreed with the creative plans for the match, and refused to perform.
According to Fightful Select, the two left before the show – about an hour before the match was set to start – and while they didn’t expect to win, they wanted to wrestle for longer than three minutes before losing.
However, they were informed that the timings for the match, and the show as a whole, were set and ‘couldn’t be changed’.
It’s claimed Miranda was ‘much more vocal about the situation’, although Nixon was still described as ‘adamant’.
Some people backstage reportedly felt the partners ‘should have handled things differently’, with neither star under contract to AEW.
An insider told Fightful that ‘multiple people backstage wen to bat’ for Welsh wrestler Nixon, who had shared videos online about struggling to get booked for shows since her WWE exit.

After leaving the pair were replaced by Hyan and Maya World, who lost to TayJay in less than two minutes, and were ‘thanked for their professionalism’.
Nixon is yet to comment publicly on the situation, but they both retweeted fan support over the incident, while Miranda added: ‘We have SOOOOOOOO much to say …………… (sic)’
The pair also posted on Miranda’s Instagram Story, enjoying a pint and some food instead of wrestling on Collision.
They previously appeared on the recent Fright Night episode of Collision on October 29, losing to Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne in 2 minutes and 26 seconds.
Despite still getting out there on indie shows, Nixon insisted earlier this year she has ‘lost a lot of love for wrestling’ over the past year or so, given her positioning in WWE and getting released.
She even insisted if that fire isn’t reignited in the next two years, she’ll hang up her boots and retire from pro wrestling.
‘I’m giving myself two years to either find the love, find myself, or just call it a day,’ she exclusively told Metro. ‘Mid 2027, just before my 33rd birthday.’
