Alicia Silverstone favored a classic silhouette when she stepped onto the red carpet of “Bugonia” at the Venice Film Festival on August 28. She wore a stunning, long-sleeved white dress designed by Prada, which was simple yet elegant.

Silverstone also posed with cast members of the 2025 sci-fi comedy, “Bugonia.” The film stars Silverstone, as well as Emma Stone (who debuted a beautiful new hairdo), Jesse Plemons, Stavros Halkias, and Aidan Delbis.
Silverstone has had hiatuses from acting over the years, but she has made a return. In an interview with Fox News Digital on August 19, the star revealed why she stepped away from the entertainment industry.
“I think there was a time where it didn’t feel as fun, and then I was so engaged in activism and writing my books, âThe Kind Diet,â âThe Kind Mama.â Then, having a baby and being a present mommy,â she said. She is a mom to her son, Bear Blu Jarecki, who was born in 2011.
She continued, “I’ve been working all along, but then I at some point realized, âWait, I really love actingâ and I was starting to do a lot of theater. I’d been doing tons of stuff. Many Broadway shows and many theater productions, and I think I found my joy in it and thought, ‘Let’s do this, let’s do it.’ You can do it all, but you have to do it carefully. It is very difficult.â

Silverstone is beautiful at any age, but at 48, she has fully embraced everything about her appearance and no longer cares about outside opinions or societal pressures. âOf course, itâs in the fabric of this job, and just being a woman and being alive; itâs part of our society and culture,â she told Byrdie in an August 5 interview discussing aging and Hollywoodâs beauty standards.
The “Clueless” actress also revealed that she plans to age naturally and the benefits of doing so. âI have lines,â she said. âI donât know. Iâm curious to see what happens. Iâd like to be an example [of what that would look like].” Silverstone acknowledges the change in appearance that comes with age, but she won’t “lose sleep over it.” She continued, “I donât prioritize it that much⦠Iâm having too much fun.â And she looks incredible!
