On October 11, Diane Keaton was announced dead at 79 years old. As reported by People, the “Annie Hall” star died in California, but no other details were given at the time.

Keaton Adopted Dexter in 1996
Keaton became a mom for the first time when she adopted her daughter, Dexter, in 1996.
Unlike her mom, Dexter keeps a low profile and lives her life away from the spotlight. According to her LinkedIn, Dexter studied at a veterinary school and was a senior lifeguard for a few years.
It’s unclear what she does now, but Dexer married Jordan White on June 12, 2021, in a gorgeous Hawaii wedding.
“Thank you Jordan, my husband, for a wonderful and memorable weekend and honeymoon. I love you!” Dexter shared on Instagram.
The bride wore a lacy white gown and had her hair in loose waves, while Jordan had on a gray suit with white checks.
Jordan proposed to Dexter in November 2020 at a winery, which was captured by the happy couple.
“This morning started with hail and ended with a diamond! I canât believe Iâm engaged! I love you, Jordan!” Dexter posted.
“Congratulations on your engagement! That’s a great feeling that I still remember when my then-boyfriend and now-husband proposed to me! Cherish those moments cuz they pass way too fast! Soak it all in and enjoy,” a fan commented.
Dexter shares a close relationship with Keaton, and in a sweet throwback picture shared in June 2023, she wrote, “My mom and I have always loved going on adventures together. From strolls on the beach to walking around a new neighborhood. I love spending time with my mom. We always have an amazing time together. I love my mom.”
Duke Is a Talented Musician
Like his mom, Duke is in the entertainment industry, but he chose to make his mark with music instead.
In January 2024, she shared a clip of him singing a haunting tune, writing, “I AM CRYING RIGHT NOW!!!! THIS IS BEYOND BEAUTIFUL.”
Although Duke is an aspiring musician, he lives his life relatively privately, and wrote on his website, “Duke has deliberately taken the quieter road, allowing his work to speak before his name. He shares glimpses of his life and creative process through carefully curated visuals on social media, inviting his growing audience into his evolving universe.”
Keaton showed her son some love on his birthday in February 2022. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUKE!!!” she posted, while sharing snaps of her youngest child.
