All the people banned from Jeremy Clarkson’s pub – so far

Jeremy Clarkson’s pub has been open for less than a month but already three people are on his banned list.

As The Grand Tour comes to an emotional end, Clarkson has branched out with another new venture, opening The Farmer’s Dog to huge praise from delighted customers.

With pints of his Hawkstone lager costing just £5.50, hundreds of fans queued up to be among the first to enjoy Clarkson’s Oxfordshire watering hole, which reportedly set him back £1,000,000.

The former Top Gear presenter, 64, promised every single bit of product would be homegrown in the UK, but he revealed this week he’s ‘failed’ – largely thanks to the ‘simple G&T’.

Regardless three people will never set foot in The Famer’s Dog. They won’t be able to sample the delights on its simple food menu, which includes British classics like Lancashire hotpot and steak pie and mash.

They’ll never get to tick off sipping on a cold pint pulled by Clarkson himself.

And those three people are…

Sir Keir Starmer

The Prime Minister was the first name on Clarkson’s hit list, getting slapped with a lifetime ban on day one of the pub being open.

‘He’s banned. He’s the first person on the board in the hall to be banned,’ Clarkson told Times Radio.

Pushed about why the Labour leader was blacklisted, the presenter-turned farmer-turned pub landlord simply explained: ‘He hasn’t done much to endear himself to me yet.’

Clarkson has been a regular Starmer basher. Ahead of the general election, he said he’d ‘rather vote for my dog’ than have Starmer leading the country.

James May

After 20 years, one of the greatest TV partnerships is coming to an end with Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May going their separate ways after the upcoming episode of The Grand Tour.

In turn, Clarkson has banned one of his co-stars (so far) from entering The Farmer’s Dog – and that co-star is May.

Clarkson claimed The Grand Tour could no longer continue because the world has become ‘too dangerous’.

In an interview with The Telegraph earlier this year, James joked that they were ‘creatively fueled by a mutual loathing’ although that’s why their ‘dynamic worked’.

Clarkson later responded: ‘We’ve spent more time in each other’s company than our families’ over the last 25 years so I don’t think it would have lasted as long as it did if we’d hated each other as much as James likes to think.’

Regardless, May is banned from Clarkson’s boozer.

Maddy Hornby

And now a third person has been added to the growing list of people who will be refused entry to The Farmer’s Dog.

Clarkson has a list pinned to a wall in the pub which was shared in a video on Instagram, which now includes a Maddy Hornby.

In the clip, the man filming asked: ‘Jeremy, what’s happening here?’

Clarkson responded: ‘I am banning your daughter’ while writing Maddy Hornby beneath the names of Sir Keir Stamer and James May.

Clarifying why Maddy won’t be back in his pub anytime soon, he said: ‘She moaned after not being able to have Tabasco in her Bloody Mary.’

Clarkson is trying his hardest to ban any produce from overseas, ruling out Tabasco – unless he starts to make his own.
