In the midst of the drama, Duggar family followers were quick to notice that things between Kendra and her parents didn’t seem so cozy. Now, an insider is confirming it.</p>

<p id=”par-3_82″>An insider speaking with <a href=”https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/kendra-duggar-cut-off-parents-after-being-forced-out-of-home/”>Us Weekly</a> has confirmed that Kendra Caldwell is not currently in contact with her parents, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/the-caldwells-issue-a-bold-statement-on-joseph-duggars-arrest.html/”>Paul and Christina Caldwell.</a> The insider claims that the Caldwells have worked to put distance between themselves and the Duggar family, but never wanted to cut off Kendra, too. Despite that, she apparently has sided with her in-laws. She even signed off on her parents’ utilities being cut off before they officially moved out. Joseph and Kendra owned the property in question. </p>
<p id=”par-4_104″>Us Weekly did not reveal the identity of the insider they spoke to. Still, several people within the family’s social circle have spoken out since Joseph’s arrest on lewd and lascivious behavior. Whispers of drama between the families surfaced in March. Back in April, we broke the news that Amy Paul, a Duggar family associate, was<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kendra-caldwells-parents-move-out-of-her-home-amid-scandal.html/”> lambasting the Duggars </a>on social media after she drove hours to assist the Caldwells with their move. Paul was the first person to imply that the Duggars retaliated against the Caldwells by shutting off the electricity and water in the home while the Caldwells were still packing up.</p>

<p id=”par-5_69″>Kendra Caldwell’s drama with her parents seems to have been longstanding, but really took a turn for the worse after Joseph Duggar’s arrest. In a jailhouse call with her husband, Kendra spat venom when <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/amy-duggar-king-confirms-shes-no-longer-on-speaking-terms-with-jim-bob-duggar-during-josh-duggars-sentencing.html/”>speaking about her family</a> and her assets. In one telling moment, she insisted that there were people who would ensure her parents vacated their property “this time.” Joseph, seemingly sedate as ever, simply said, “Ok.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_70″>Joseph’s arrest appears to have been the catalyst for most of the trouble, but it’s unclear exactly why. The insider did say that Caldwell’s main focus is to support Joseph’s victim. The Duggars have stayed relatively quiet about the arrest, but Jim Bob Duggar was on hand to bail Joseph out of jail in Florida, indicating that he is supporting his son despite allegations that he is a sexual predator.</p>
