Angelina Jolie had one of the sultriest looks of the night at the premiere of her new film “Couture” at the Rome Film Festival on October 18, 2025. The 50-year-old sizzled in a sultry black mid-calf length dress. Women’s Wear Daily reported the look was “a custom Alberta Ferretti cape dress designed by Lorenzo Serafini.”
The most eye-catching part of the dress was its plunging open back which put the A-lister’s extensively tattooed back on display. She completed the ensemble with sheer black hose and sharply angular patent leather heels.

The “Gia” actress admirably took the time to greet fans who were gathered at a barrier as she walked the red carpet. She signed a few autographs and appeared to chat with several of the eager onlookers before posing for more photos. After some solo shots, the A-lister posed with her “Couture” castmates Louis Garrel and Anyier Anel, and the film’s director Alice Winocour.
Deadline calls “Couture” possibly Jolie’s “most personal film yet.” Their review says the project dives into “themes of people uniting to repair and resolve issues permeating their lives” as three women in three different decades of life cross paths at Paris Fashion Week. Jolie plays a financially fragile American filmmaker, and Anyier plays a young model who dreams of moving on to a pharmaceutical career. They are joined by Ella Rumpf, who plays a makeup artist and aspiring writer in her 30s.
The film somewhat mirrors Jolie’s real life, as her character is going through a divorce and facing a cancer diagnosis. Jolie finalized her divorce from Brad Pitt in at the end of 2024 after a roughly 12-year partnership, and she underwent a preventive double mastectomy as well as removal of her uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries after learning she was a carrier of risky genes that increased her odds of future cancer. She opened up about the surgery in an essay for the New York Times.

Us Weekly reported on October 8 that the megastar is preparing to leave her native Los Angeles behind. The outlet says they’ve learned from insiders that Jolie plans to relocate to live abroad by the end of Summer 2026.
The report even quotes the source as saying the actress has plans of listing her $24.5 million Los Feliz home for sale.
During a press conference at the San Sebastian Film Festival in September, Jolie announced she was becoming disillusioned with life in the United States. “I love my country, but I don’t, at this time, recognize my country,” she said solemnly.
However, she optimistically went on, “I’ve always lived internationally. My family’s international. My life, my friends, my worldview is equal, united, international.”
