‘DWP2’ Begins Filming in NYC
As per a Backstage report, the filming for âThe Devil Wears Prada 2â kicks off in New York City. Grant Wilfley Casting has issued a new call for background talent. The casting agency is seeking NYC-based individuals, aged 22â80, to portray everyday Midtown pedestriansâincluding tourists, drivers, businesspeople, and joggers. The report states filming is scheduled for July 25 and/or July 28. Which means the curtain has officially risen on production in the heart of New York City.
What to Expect From âThe Devil Wears Prada 2â
According to Variety, Hathawayâs teaser comes on the heels of the official sequel confirmation. Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci are all set to return. New faces joining the cast include Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, and Pauline Chalamet.
The sequel will reportedly follow Miranda Priestly as she navigates the fall of traditional publishingâand faces off against Bluntâs character, now a powerful luxury fashion executive controlling the ad dollars Priestly desperately needs.
