I’m A Celebrity presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have addressed previously ‘meeting’ Dean McCullough on Britain’s Got Talent.

The BBC Radio 1 presenter, 32, reached the semi-finals of the ITV show with his all-male dance troupe The Glambassadors in 2013.

However, Ant and Dec, both 49, who have presented BGT since it started in 2007, said they had no recollection of Dean on the programme.

Last night, a fan asked on the presenters’ Instagram Live, Jungle Club:’Do you remember meeting Dean on Britain’s Got Talent years ago?’

Ant replied according to The Mirror: ‘Good question but the answer to that is no.’

On I’m A Celebrity, Ant has been growing increasingly frustrated with Dean’s disastrous attempts at Bushtucker Trials.

Ant admitted he was ‘unprofessional’ when he lost his patience with Dean and urged him to ‘try harder’.

On spin-off Unpacked, he confessed: ‘My annoyance came across on screen and I was quite unprofessional and I’m not happy about it.’

Ant explained how he’d reached this point of frustration: ‘You get to the point where you’re like “What are you doing?”‘

He later begged viewers to vote for another celebrity to tackle a Bushtucker trial but insisted it was ‘nothing personal’ towards Dean.

Ant begged: ‘It’s good to see other faces down there. This is not a personal thing. It’s not about Dean. It’s about us and just seeing different people from the show being featured.’

I’m A Celebrity fans have also predicted Dean will be the first star to be eliminated from the jungle after a huge fallout.

Dean and Alan Halsall locked horns in the first row of the series when the Corrie star attempted to wake him from a nap to help Jane Moore collect wood for a fire.

When he got little response from Dean, Alan decided to go down with Jane to help her so she wasn’t alone.

As Dean headed to join Alan and Jane, he said to Alan: ‘You can go back now.

Alan explained: ‘I was trying to wake you up as soft as I could.’

While Dean responded: ‘Listen to me. If you’re gonna wake me up, you need to give me a minute, alright?

‘It takes a couple of minutes for my contact lenses to get back working again, alright? So you don’t need to turn around to me and say, “Do you not fancy it?” ok? And then turn around and walk away.’

Alan explained: ‘I’ve listened to you, Jane was halfway down here, that’s why I went…”’

Dean said: ‘Ok, I get that but you need to give me a minute, mate.’

The back and forth continued as the pair repeated their points, with Alan apologising for the way his comments may have come across.

On X, fans believed Dean’s behaviour could spell his elimination with inkjude saying: ‘Dean purposefully pretending to be sleeping and giving attitude get him out #ImACeleb.’

‘Dean’s just earned himself the first elimination I think #ImACeleb,’ said superTV247 in agreement.

I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
