Asmongold is spending his time being banned on Twitch by cleaning his house (YouTube)
After years of living in a mouldy house overflowing with all kinds of mess, Twitch streamer Asmongold has updated fans on his new clean-up project.
Earlier this summer Asmongold promised he would finally clean his filthy house, which he’s neglected for years and has become a popular topic for fans to discuss and joke about.
Not only did he at one point find a dead rat in his home, but he also said he had ‘mould all over the bathroom walls’ and a hole in the ceiling where a ‘possum or something’ had come through.
The streamer is currently banned from Twitch, after his comments about the Palestinian people – which was deemed to breach the platform’s hateful conduct policy – and is using the spare time to sort out his house.
Asmongold has posted two sets of side-by-side comparison pictures on his Twitter account, showing the results of the cleaning project so far.
The first one is of his living room, which was so overflowing with stuff that there was nowhere to sit or put anything else down.
He’s also cleaned his kitchen, or at least the sink area, which was also a complete mess.
The before picture even shows a spider on the dirty dishes, and when asked about it Asmongold said:
‘We had a mutual agreement that he [the spider] could be in the house as long as no wasps. Two f****** wasps got in so he got evicted.’
That’s it for updates so far, but there’s still a lot more to do if Asmongold wants to clean his entire house. His streaming room is equally messy, often seen with lots of empty cups of fizzy drinks and dirty plates.
His current ban doesn’t end until the end of October, so there’s still time to take on his mouldy bathroom and filthy streaming room before he eventually makes his comeback.
Asmongold’s recent comments against Palestinians is just the latest of many controversial comments that has gotten him in trouble recently.
In August, after popular content creator Rivers had won Streamer Of The Year, Asmongold said he was ‘salty because it was obviously a diversity pick because she’s a woman’.
