The remake of Ubisoft’s pirate-themed Assassin’s Creed is out this week, so here are the cheapest deals and where to buy the collector’s edition.
While Ubisoft has remastered several Assassin’s Creed games in the past, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced marks a new era as the series’ first full remake.
The original 2013 game followed Welsh pirate Edward Kenway on his travels through the West Indies in 1715, during the golden age of piracy. It was the first game in the series to have ship exploration and battles, and is widely regarded as one of the best entries.
The remake boasts updated visuals, new missions, reworked combat, and other additions. If you’re gagging for a revamped pirate fix, we’ve compiled the best pre-order deals across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S below.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be released worldwide on Thursday, July 9, 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
On PC, it will be available across Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Ubisoft Store. A Switch 2 version hasn’t been announced, which is a little surprising but may come later.
Best Black Flag Resynced pre-order deals on PS5
Across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the best deal on the standard edition of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is £43.85 on Hit, which is 12% cheaper than the £49.99 retail price.
You can also pick up the title at Currys and Argos for £44.99. Additionally, there is a special launch edition for £49.99, which appears to be exclusive to Amazon, which throws in a world map poster and art book. You can check out a list of deals below.

What’s in the deluxe edition?
The deluxe edition of Black Flag Resynced, which is digital-only, comes with the Master Assassin Character Pack, aka customisation items for Edward Kenway, and extra ship cosmetics in the Master Assassin Naval Pack. It’s priced at £59.99.
If you pre-order any version of the game, you’ll be given the Blackbeard’s Crimson Pack, featuring a red costume, sword, and pistol.
Is there a collector’s edition?
Absolutely, but it will set you back £174.99. This comes with a copy of the game, an exclusive steelbook, Edward’s metal brooch, a 12 inch Edward Kenway statue, a cloth world map, Edward’s logbook, a sea shanty music sheet, along with all the digital goodies in the deluxe edition.
At the time of writing, it appears to be sold out everywhere. But it might be worth keeping an eye out on Argos, Smyths, and Amazon when launch day rolls around. Inevitably, it’ll end up on eBay at a much higher price.
Is there early access for Black Flag Resynced?
Unfortunately, Ubisoft isn’t offering early access to Black Flag Resynced, so we’ll have to sail for booty in collective unison on July 9.
