<p id=”par-1_15″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/sean-diddy-combs”>Sean “Diddy” Combs</a>’ trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges is drawing to a close. </p>
<p id=”par-2_49″>On Friday, the hip-hop mogul’s defense wrapped up its closing argument in the high-profile case. Jury deliberations are expected to begin on Monday, with Combs facing the possibility of life in prison if convicted. But <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/sean-diddy-combs-prosecutors-made-mistake-not-calling-witness-stand-former-prosecutor-says.html/”>some insiders aren’t convinced</a> that he’ll end up serving time on all the charges. </p>
<p id=”par-3_27″>Aubrey O’Day, who appeared on Diddy’s <em>Making the Band </em>series and has been <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/aubrey-oday-says-diddy-is-using-his-kids-for-optics-daddys-being-selfish.html/”>commenting regularly on the trial</a>, fears that the case against him isn’t rock solid.</p>
<p id=”par-4_36″>“I was hoping we’d get to this day and not have so many people asking so many questions … you hope to get to this day pretty certain,” she said during an interview with <a href=”https://www.etonline.com/media/videos/diddy-trial-aubrey-oday-shares-what-she-fears-about-acquittal-exclusive-236126″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Entertainment Tonight</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-5_35″>The former Danity Kane member added that she would have preferred that the case against Diddy be more of a “slam dunk.” Specifically, she questioned whether he would be convicted on the racketeering conspiracy charge. </p>
<p id=”par-6_22″>“You don’t want a hung jury,” she said. “It’s a lot of money and a lot of time to do this again.” </p>
<p id=”par-7_26″>Though O’Day has concerns about the way the prosecution presented its case, she’s refusing to consider the possibility that Diddy might walk away a free man. </p>
<p id=”par-8_37″>“I’d feel best if he was found guilty on everything,” she added. “I don’t have [an acquittal] in the range of possibility in my thoughts right now … there would be a lot of danger out there.” </p>
