‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ Has Strong Early Movie Reviews
The premiere for “Avatar: Fire and Ash” took place on December 1 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. It was a star-studded event, complete with actors from the movie and other notable celebrities. Now that they have seen the film, some critics are providing early reviews. It currently has a 7.1 out of 10 rating on IMDb.
One reviewer on X, Josh Tyler, gave it a positive review. He wrote, “AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH is a visual feast that somehow outdoes everything that came before it. The story takes bold swings, lands surprises youâd never expect, and proves James Cameron is still operating on a different level. Hard to believe, but itâs the best of the trilogy so far.”
Adam Patla said, “While it struggles to juggle all its characters & feels repetitious, #AvatarFireAndAsh is strongest when itâs interrogating faith in the face of grief. I adored it whenever itâs focused on the conflict with the Ash People. Goes w/out saying itâs visually superb.”
Critic Bryan Sudfield also reviewed the film. He said, “Anyone that continues to doubt James Cameron will have to be questioned. AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH presents a grander, deeper lens on the world of Pandora and further builds on the charactersâ emotional arcs. The visuals are incredible (duh), and Oona Chaplin chews up the scenery.”
Jo Blo wrote, “Avatar: Fire and Ash is obviously a must-see in IMAX 3D. Like The Way of Water, itâs unbelievably immersive. I think itâs a minor step down from the last one, but the 3-hour-plus running time whizzes by, and Iâm definitely always down for another trip to Pandora.”
