Local newspapers Vanguardia and El Espectador reported that Quiroz RamÃrez had been on her way to Floridablanca, Colombia, and that she had tried to âmaneuver between a car and a tractor-trailer, fell from her bike and was hit by the tractor-trailer,â People reports.Â
An investigation into the accident has been launched, and the Floridablanca transit official, Jahir Andrés Castellanos Prada, made a statement to the local newspaper Vanguardia about how they intend to proceed. âThe Prosecutorâs Office will proceed to clearly and precisely determine the causes of this fatal traffic accident, carry out the corresponding investigations, conduct the respective interviews with witnesses, analyze the videos from the cameras and, finally, determine if there was any type of responsibility on the part of any of the drivers involved,â he said, People reports.
