Binky Felstead’s mum shares alarming video strapped to hospital bed with blood down her face

Made in Chelsea star Binky Felstead’s mum Jane has shared a shocking update to social media after a nasty fall landed her in hospital.

Mummy Felstead, 74, carved out her own fanbase on the popular E4 reality series, on which she made regular cameos between 2011 and 2017.

Although she may not be on the show anymore, her 85,000 followers on social media have been following her day-to-day ever since, including her updates on living with the autoimmune disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), which she was diagnosed with in 2017.

But in a recent video, she left fans deeply concerned after who appears to be her daughter Binky filmed her strapped to a hospital bed in a private room with brutal-looking, bloody bruising on the side of her head and two black eyes.

Speaking to the camera, she said: ‘I’d like to say to my family. Here I am. I’ve pulled through again… I’ll fight another day.’

Remaining in good spirits, she joked about wanting a glass of champagne despite the ‘ambulance being horrified’ and told an anecdote about having a ‘do not resuscitate badge’.

Explaining the lead-up to her fall, she said that she had a ‘bit of a run-in with my upstairs neighbour which was very unpleasant’.

Then continued: ‘As I fell, I don’t know, all these women arrived, and I knew them all… by the way I was blue lighted all the way, they were very worried about me.’

Worried fans flocked to the comments to share their well wishes.

‘Oh goodness, mummy Felstead!! Even after this trauma you’re still cracking your lovely jokes and making everyone smile. Sending you love,’ Loubear_whit_ing.

‘Awe I do hope your mum is ok. Sending lots of love and a speedy recovery,’ suziewells_said.

Although Jane no longer appears on Made in Chelsea, she is now an advocate for MS Society, where she has opened up about her journey of getting diagnosed after first noticing symptoms almost five decades prior.

As explained by the NHS, MS is a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord and currently has no cure. Symptoms can include extreme tiredness, vision issues and numbness or tingling around different parts of the body.

‘I can’t stress enough how wonderful it was to get a diagnosis, after so many years of having an invisible illness.

‘Friends and acquaintances had never believed me and I had been told everything from I “needed to rest” to “I needed to rest less” ! I began to wonder if I was exaggerating my symptoms, but I knew how my own body felt,’ she told the organisation in 2024.

She continued: ‘So, suddenly this was the moment I had needed all my life. But hearing what the neurologist had to say was scary. She began to explain what MS was, and the possible implications for me.

‘All the years I had waited for answers finally hit me.’
