The Oscar-winning actor has revealed the one condition that needs to be met before he ever teams up with Tom Cruise again on screenâand letâs just say itâs very down-to-earth.

In a new interview with E! News, which aired on June 12, Pitt joked about the one condition he has for working with his Interview with the Vampire co-star, Tom Cruise, again.
âIâm not gonna hang my ass off airplane [and] s–t like that,â the F1 actor said, adding that heâd consider reuniting with Cruise âwhen he does something again thatâs on the ground.â
Itâs a playful nod to Cruiseâs well-known love for high-risk stuntsâespecially in the Mission: Impossible franchise.
Brad Pitt Just Revealed What He Raced Against Tom Cruise
Pitt and Cruise starred together in 1994âs “Interview with the Vampire“, and according to Pitt, they had a bit of a racing rivalry on set.
âWe raced go-karts,â he recalled. âHe got me in the end. I gotta admit.â
Tom has nothing but love for Brad in return. During a Paramount panel in April, Cruise praised Pittâs skills behind the wheel, especially as the F1 film nears release.
âHeâs very good. Heâs a very good driver,â Cruise said. âBelieve me, Iâve raced against him.â
Brad Pitt Reveals Quirky Rituals He Followed on F1 Set
Aside from his grounded stunt rule, Pitt also revealed some quirky habits while filming F1. The 61-year-old actor said he has a few OCD-like rituals he follows daily.
âBefore getting in the car, I always have to get in on the left side,â he told E!. âI have to put my left shoe on first, Iâd have to put my left glove on first.â
Even the pit crew knew the drill. âThe guys knew they had to do left first,â he said. âIf they didnât, we had to start over.â
F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) and produced with the help of real-life Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, premieres in theaters on June 27. The film also stars Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and more.
