<p id=”par-1_16″>A friend of Brandi Glanville is rallying support for <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/brandi-glanville-rumor-leann-rimes-joining-rhobh.html/”>The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills</a> </em>alum. </p>
<p id=”par-2_50″>For years, Brandi has been tormented by what <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/brandi-glanville-says-ruptured-breast-implants-lead-to-facial-deformities.html/”>she says is a facial parasite</a>, which has caused her pain and led to disfigurement even. In the past three years, she’s shelled out thousands of dollars for treatments and doctors visits in an attempt to get answers about her health problems.</p>
<p id=”par-3_29″>Now, Brandi’s friend Gina Rodriguez has launched a <a href=”https://www.gofundme.com/f/standing-with-brandi-glanville-through-her-treatment?cp_src=d”>GoFundMe</a> to help the one-time Bravo star cover the cost of her medical care, which runs thousands of dollars per month. </p>

<p id=”par-4_64″>“For the past three years, <em>RHOBH </em>alum, Brandi Glanville has been fighting an illness that has completely changed her life,” Rodriguez explained in her appeal. “She has gone from doctor to doctor searching for answers while her health continued to decline. Now, after years of uncertainty, she finally has diagnoses and a treatment plan, but the road ahead is long, painful and incredibly expensive.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_16″>Brandi is “exhausted” by the treatments she’s already undergone, and “the financial toll has become overwhelming.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_31″>Any funds raised will go to help Brandi with IV treatments, medications, medical and specialist expenses, upcoming surgeries and procedures, dental treatment, insurance costs, and basic living expenses, according to Rodriguez.</p>

<p id=”par-7_45″>On Tuesday, Brandi took to <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DdBybLIu8Ob/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> to share an update on her condition. In an emotional video, she shared that the parasite had spread from her face down her arm. She also has a fungal ball on her face that is “hard as a rock.” </p>
<p id=”par-8_26″>“I’ve been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and Mononucleosis,” the former model explained in the caption. </p>
<p id=”par-9_42″>But that’s just the start of her issues. The fungal ball must be removed, as well as metal from old dental fillings. In addition, she wants to remove her breast implants and will need four to six months of daily IV treatment. </p>
<p id=”par-10_67″>“The treatment has NOT been easy and so far I’ve had very little improvement. I still have a couple surgeries ahead of me and months of treatment to go,” she said. “Even with insurance, this is costing me around $3,300–$6,000 a month. I’m not able to work right now other than my podcast and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to do this mentally or financially.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_64″>“I’m sharing some really bad moments and I know I don’t look good in these videos. Honestly, I don’t care. I feel terrible and this is what being sick looks like for me right now … I just want this sh*t OUT of my body. I want my health back. I want my life back. I want to feel like me again,” she added. </p>
