After weeks of not hearing from the ransom demand writer in the case of Nancy Guthrie, TMZ reported that theyâve received two more ransom letters from the same person who sent them several others over one month ago.
In a video shared on TMZâs Instagram, Harvey Levin and Charles Latibeaudiere explained that inside the latest ransom demands, sent on the same day Savannah Guthrie returned to the âTODAYâ show on April 6, it was stated that Nancy is dead and her body is still able to be found and recovered.
Ransom Letter Claims Nancy Guthrie Has Passed Away
The writer, like his previous ransom letters, said that heâd be willing to offer the critical information about where Nancy’s remains are â but only if he is given a Bitcoin. He demanded half the amount of a Bitcoin now, and then once the public gains interest, he said he wants the remaining half of the Bitcoin to be deposited into the same account he made in February.
The ransom sender claimed that he witnessed Nancy with her kidnapper earlier on in the case, writing to TMZ, “I Saw her alive with them in the state of Sonora Mexico.”
Sonora is located on the border of Mexico, over 200 miles from Nancyâs home in Tucson, Arizona. The ransom writer described Nancyâs kidnapping and death as a âhorrific crime,â noting that he had nothing to do with what allegedly happened to the beloved 84-year-old.
He also elaborated within one of the latest letters that heâs shocked the FBI refused to believe he has knowledge of the kidnapping. Levin and Latibeaudiere, however, said they have a strong feeling that the ransom information is plausible and true.
Nancy Guthrie Ransom Writer in Shock Over FBI
âIt’s unbelievable that millions have been wasted and yet here I am willing to deliver them on a silver platter since the 11th of february for a bitcoin but I am disregarded as a scam … they are free and the case is frozen but the ego’s remain hot when it comes to me. Arrogance at it’s finest,â the ransom sender wrote.
They also explained why they havenât turned over their information directly to the FBI for their $100,000 reward, stating, âI just want whats fair and to live peacefully with enough to start my life again quietly with out having to join a witness protection program.â
