Brooklyn Beckham might not be on the best of terms with his father David, but he is taking a leaf out of his dad’s book with his latest career venture.

The 26-year-old took part in a star-studded Ryder Cup game alongside Toni Kukoč in the European team as they competed against Eli Manning and Colin Jost for the US.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a series of snaps from the big day of golf, including candid shots of him preparing to take a swing.

‘Thank you for having me x what an amazing experience x I’ll be at the driving range for the next two years…,’ he wrote in the caption, hinting at his desire to pursue golf in the near future.

But rather than being dazzled by his golf skills, fans were more preoccupied by Brooklyn’s rugged facial hair and how much it made him look like former England ace David, 50.

‘Brooklyn or David?! Lol!,’ Tadera commented, while Kieran_m_roper said: ‘Look very much like your dad here 👌🏻.’

Erinzheng02 admitted: ‘Never thought you looked that much like your dad. The first pic totally confused me😂.’

‘Is this Beckham Snr or Beckham Jr???’ Sue_naidu asked.

Many said they were practically ‘identical,’ while others questioned the state of the father and son’s relationship following a rumoured rift in the Beckham family.

Psychiatristaynily added: ‘In the first picture, you look like your dad; you’re even his doppelgänger. In the blink of an eye, I felt happy, thinking that you might have overcome the family feud.’

Brooklyn’s latest stint on the golf pitch marks the latest in a long line of hobbies and career choices for the star, from barista to entrepreneur.

As a child, Brooklyn followed in David’s footsteps and played for Arsenal’s youth team, but decided to hang up his football boots when he didn’t obtain a scholarship.

At 15, he also worked as a barista in a West London coffee shop on the insistence of David and Victoria, who had stressed the importance of working hard to their children.

Brooklyn later turned his hand to photography and, in 2017, released his own photography book, What I See, which was met with backlash.

In 2014, the budding model had his first-ever cover shoot with Man About Town Magazine, and in 2021, landed a contract with Superdry.

When the Covid pandemic rolled around, Brooklyn entered the world of cooking and started his very own web series that taught fans his favourite recipes, often being roasted online.

The entrepreneur has launched various businesses, including sake brand WESAKE and hot sauce company Cloud 23.

His latest venture sees Brooklyn turn his attention to being a race car driver – yes, really – after announcing he has signed onto Formula E’s Evo Sessions.
