Brooklyn Beckham appears to have made another dig at his family by spending Christmas Day with a different sporting icon.
Yesterday, he seemingly hit back at his brother Cruz following the revelation he’d blocked his family on Instagram.
The eldest of the Beckhams’ kids has been locked in an alleged family feud for months now, with hopes of a Christmas truce now gone.
Now, Brooklyn, 26, has revealed that he enjoyed the festivities with American tennis pro Reilly Opelka, 28.
He posted a story of them playing a match on a Los Angeles court together alongside Nicola’s brother, Bradley.
Meanwhile, Victoria and Sir David posted Christmas pictures with the rest of the kids over on their own Instagrams.
Cruz served cocktails to his family, all donning Santa hats, after dropping the bombshell that Brooklyn had blocked them all.
It was claimed that Sir David and Victoria don’t follow Brooklyn or their daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz, and they don’t feature in the list of people followed by the 30-year-old actress.
However, Cruz made a surprise statement, writing: ‘NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.’
Seemingly in response, Brooklyn posted a video of himself strolling down a street in slow motion with Lady Gaga’s hit song Telephone playing over the top.
Fans noted that the lyrics, which he had also written on the screen, seemed a little pointed as he highlighted ‘Sorry, I cannot hear you, I’m kinda busy.’
The video was to advertise Brooklyn’s sauce company Cloud23, which was named for his dad’s Real Madrid jersey number.
Tensions between Brooklyn and his family have been reported for much of the year, with him missing his dad’s knighthood and 50th birthday celebrations.
Before his tennis match with Reilly, the chef posted a photo holding hands with Nicola, calling her his ‘everything’.
Meanwhile, across the pond, Victoria shared a snap of youngest sibling, Harper, writing down her thoughts alone at the dinner table.
‘Manifesting her wishes,’ she wrote, tagging her daughter’s account, which she opened earlier this year after turning 14.
The Spice Girls icon was recently accused of accidentally inflaming the situation when she liked one of his cooking posts.
A source told Metro: ‘Victoria liked an Instagram post on Brooklyn’s page just days before he blocked her and David.
‘There was no intention behind it other than to show she’s thinking of him before Christmas. She had no idea it would lead to this fallout.
‘She can’t understand why Brooklyn would make the decision to block her, David, and his brothers. Cruz and Romeo are just as hurt by it, and it feels like Brooklyn has truly cut them out of his life.’
Brooklyn has not spoken publicly about the feud but reportedly wishes to be ‘left alone’ with his wife for their new life in the States.
