Brooklyn Beckham’s wife Nicola Peltz took to social media after being absent from David’s star-studded 50th birthday celebrations.
Eva Longoria and Tom Cruise were just a few of David’s friends who were in attendance at David’s 50th birthday celebrations in London on Saturday night.
The footballer was celebrating his milestone birthday in London, after a pre-birthday bash in Miami, a gathering at their £10,000,000 home in the Cotswolds and a family lunch in Paris.
After reports of a ‘family feud’ David and Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola weren’t in attendance on the big day, with his siblings Cruz, Romeo, and Harper instead by his side.
Nicola, 30, and Brooklyn, 26, reportedly flew back to the US on Saturday before the party kicked off.
On the same day of the bash, Nicola shared an emotional post on Instagram, alongside a photo with her two late grandmothers.
She wrote: ‘In life we have core memories and this is one of my most favorite days i’ve ever lived.
‘They were my best friends, there wasn’t a day I wasn’t with them. to my naunni and my gina I can’t fathom the thought of not being able to hug you or hear your laugh right now – I just miss you both so much.
‘The farther I get from the day you left earth scares me because i feel like i get farther from you.
‘I remember this day so clearly, I got us all matching dior fancy sneakers and i was so proud to match you both this whole summer. the kentucky derby is today and I will never forget watching it on tv with you both every year.’
She continued: ‘I love you both more than anything and think of you every second. I hope you’re together right now looking after me and I hope I see you soon.
‘To my forever soulmates I more than love you because the word love doesn’t touch how you have made me feel growing up. I felt more than loved and that is what I feel for you both, more than love.’
It’s believed that Victoria and David had hoped their son and daughter-in-law would make an appearance at the party, with a source telling The Sun: ‘David is heartbroken but putting a brave face on it. Tonight is all about celebration and love, and he is swimming in it.
‘Brooklyn actually informed his parents a while ago that he and his wife, Nicola, would not be attending but, of course, David and Victoria desperately hoped he would change his mind.’
Victoria was pictured making her entrance, joined by their kids Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and 13-year-old Harper Seven.
Posh Spice, who celebrated her 50th last year with a lavish party that even featured a Spice Girls reunion, wore a glamorous white gown.
She shared a car with David while sons Romeo and Cruz arrived with their girlfriends, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel.
