The rapper released her sophomore album, <em>Am I the Drama?</em>, on Sept. 19. Before and after <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/cardi-b-spills-prepping-early-little-miss-drama-tour.html/”>the release date</a>, Cardi took to public places to personally ask fans to listen. Now, though, she feels guilty because of the high cost of living. After she apologized to fans, many joked that this was not something she needed to apologize for, especially given her recent activities.</p>

She assumed <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/cardi-b-paying-for-the-funerals-of-bronx-fire-victims-i-needed-to-do-something.html/”>places in the Bronx</a> would be cheaper than in Manhattan, but still found prices astonishingly high.</p>

<p id=”par-4_27″>She then apologized for asking fans to buy her album at a time when rent — and the cost of living in general — is so high.</p>
<p id=”par-5_48″>“I don’t know how people are surviving,” she said. “I am so sorry for asking y’all to buy my album, and this is how the economy is right now, that the rent is so f***ing high and crazy in the Bronx, no matter where. I am so sorry.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_15″>She then called out the Trump administration for not doing enough to keep costs down.</p>

<p id=”par-10_53″>“I think her popping off in her mid-late 20’s gave her more perspective,” wrote one person. “We need more ppl in the 1% actually standing up for and even financially supporting a change for the people who have worked for/made it possible for them to be rich under capitalism in the first place.”</p>

She got into a brutal social media war <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/cardi-b-said-feels-lioness-blistering-feud-nicki-minaj.html/”>with Nicki Minaj</a> and escalated her feuds with JT and Bia. </p>
