Celebrity Traitors just keeps getting more and more dramatic.
Last night we saw poor Joe Lycett banished from the castle (he did sign his own death warrant) after the already brilliant King Kenny was recruited.
Now, though, the Traitors James Acaster, Maya Jama, and Kenny have a difficult mission ahead of them
They have to murder one of the faithful in plain sight by making a Faithful yawn.
And while that may sound difficult, it does look like the murderous Maya and James have succeeded in making either Ross or Jerry yawn, although we won’t find out who until next week.
Still, Traitors fans are convinced that James and Maya have unintentionally given the game away with their pantomime yawning.
They think Ross spotted them constantly pretending to yawn and that, as the most paranoid man in the castle, he’s going to call them out on it… If he survives.

‘1) Jerry will yawn, and she gets murdered 2) Ross will immediately twig and the next morning will confront James A and Maya 3) Kenny won’t be mentioned as he wasn’t in the room 4) James A will defend himself better than Maya 5) Maya banished.’
‘If Jerry yawns, then Ross would suspect James A and Maya for sure, and he’s going to be a threat to the traitors,’ agreed @rukaiya_shaima.
‘I’m so worried Ross is going to figure it out because it’s so suspicious that Maya and James kept yawning,’ added @kay_is_short. #
It’s not just people on X who noted Ross’s suspicious glances. On a Reddit one user guessed how the next episode will play out.
‘Jerry yawns, James and Maya both start to say “Am I boring you?” at the same time, react super awkwardly, Ross clocks them & when Jerry is dead the next morning, leads the charge,’ they wrote.
Meanwhile, Shinsukeskn33s said: ‘I feel like the traitors need Ross to yawn. Jerry is unlikely to catch on, whereas Ross is so paranoid he’s sure to clock it.’
The reason fans are so worried is that in the first few episodes, Ross has been a bit paranoid, regularly accusing others of trying to kill him in plain sight.
Still, could it be a case of the boy (or EastEnder in this instance) who cried wolf?
We’ll have to watch next week to find out.
