<p id=”par-1_85″>Earlier this year, Jax Taylor announced that he would not return for the third season of <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/vanderpump-rules/”>The Valley</a></em> after mounting concerns about his sobriety and behavior towards Brittany Cartwright. It isn’t the first time concerns have been raised about <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/jax-taylor-can-black-spray-paint-cover-bald-spot.html/”>the model-turned-reality TV star</a>. For years, he has been accused of lying and intentionally misleading the public. Channing Tatum just called him out for it again, insisting that he never roomed with Jax Taylor. Let’s take a look back at all of his other alleged lies.</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-channing-tatum-calls-jax-taylor-a-liar”>Channing Tatum calls Jax Taylor a liar</h2>
<p id=”par-2_55″>In 2013, Jax Taylor appeared on <em>Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen</em> and claimed that he knew <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/channing-tatum-zoe-kravitz-reportedly-fell-love-blink-twice-together.html/”>Channing Tatum </a>way back when. The reality TV star claimed that he and Tatum were roommates in a model house as their careers were just getting rolling. He repeated the tale 10 years later during another interview.</p>

<p id=”par-3_78″>While the story seemed plausible enough, Channing Tatum is now insisting it didn’t happen. Tatum just sat down for an interview on Andy Cohen’s radio show,<em> </em><em><a href=”https://www.siriusxm.com/player/episode-audio/entity/c55243e7-c023-059d-7a12-5588ee19d35b”>Andy Cohen Live</a></em>, and revealed that he absolutely was not roommates with Taylor. Tatum admitted that he lived in several model houses and apartments during his early career and even got kicked out of one. Still, he says Taylor was not there. Jax Taylor has yet to respond to Channing Tatum’s call-out.</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-there-have-been-other-reported-fibs-too”>There have been other reported fibs, too</h2>
<p id=”par-4_101″>Jax Taylor is no stranger to controversy, and he’s not a stranger to being called a liar. It is, admittedly, quite typical for Taylor not to respond to such allegations. He’s been called a liar by his co-stars and his estranged wife multiple times. Each time he was called out, it took a lot ot get him to respond. Ahead of season 11 of <em>Vanderpump Rules</em>, Taylor insisted that the entire show was scripted. He urged fans not to “buy” any upcoming storyline featuring a love triangle. He told fans that the show was staged, directly contradicting what others had said.</p>

<p id=”par-5_52″>Lisa Vanderpump stepped forward to call Taylor out as a liar and lambast him for commenting on a show he was no longer involved with. She insisted nothing was staged. He later relented, claiming he may not have worded his comments well. It was not his first or last scandal involving deception.</p>
<p id=”par-6_111″>Last year, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/brittany-cartwright-said-feeling-stronger-lighter-mystery-surgery.html/”>Brittany Cartwright</a> said Taylor often spread lies and rumors to make her look bad. She claimed that each time he said “my wife told me,” he was mostly making things up. She insisted she rarely told him anything about other cast members. Cartwright also claimed her ex lied about donating money to cancer research. She called him out for it on Instagram. In August 2024, Cartwright called Taylor “disgusting” for claiming he’d be donating profits from his Cameo account to cancer research. According to <a href=”https://www.newsweek.com/entertainment/celebrity-news/brittany-cartwright-exposes-ex-jax-taylor-lying-about-donating-cancer-research-1937439″>Newsweek</a>, she even tagged Cameo in the post before quickly deleting it. He also alleged she had a stroke when she insists she did not.</p>

<p id=”par-7_58″>While Jax Taylor has yet to respond to Channing Tatum’s recollection of events, he has addressed his propensity to fib or exaggerate the truth in the past. In March 2025, months before walking away from <em>The Valley </em>at the producers’ behest, he appeared on several podcasts. During that tour, Taylor admitted to being addicted to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/tom-schwartz-jax-taylor-severe-dependency-cocaine.html/”>cocaine and alcohol</a>.</p>
