Chris Hughes has allegedly spent the last six years being tormented by a female stalker.
According to a source close to the Celebrity Big Brother star, 33, the woman has been spreading ‘lies’ and ‘nonsense’ about Chris online.
The stalker has supposedly been telling people online that she and Chris are in a relationship and share a child, while also accusing him of extorting £700million from her.
Reportedly, the woman’s malicious behaviour has intensified in recent weeks, and she’s started making ‘gross claims’ about his relationship with JoJo Siwa.
The stalker has been claiming that Chris and JoJo’s relationship is fake and that they are only together for contractual reasons.
‘Not only is she making gross claims about her link to Chris, but she’s alleging criminal activity,’ a source told The Sun.
‘Most upsetting to Chris, though, is that she has it in for him and JoJo and says it’s all a fake PR relationship as part of a contract agreed before Celebrity Big Brother.’

‘It’s horrible and has been going on for six years, but she does not live in the UK so it’s not as easy to take action.’
Chris is believed to have hired a private investigator to uncover the stalker’s identity.
‘Chris is deeply appreciative of his fans’ support since Love Island and has always tried to keep a good relationship even with trolls,’ The Sun’s source added.
‘But there has to be a line, and this woman has without doubt crossed it.’
In May of this year Chris and JoJo – who met while filming Celebrity Big Brother – celebrated their one-year anniversary.
‘The greatest gift I’ve ever received in life was 365 days ago, Siwa wrote on Instagram alongside a carousel of photos showing the couple.
‘What a beautiful year it’s been with you by my side. I wake up with more love every day, more gratitude every day, and a bigger smile on my face every day.’
Chris meanwhile shared a black-and-white photo of the pair in a tropical location on his Instagram stories which was captioned: ‘Happy one year :)’.
The pair have even hinted that wedding bells may ring in their future with Chris telling The Sun: ‘I’ve definitely given [marriage] some thought. But I don’t know the exact location or what time of day.’
‘I think spontaneity would be good, something a little bit different to your usual ways, but when it feels right, I’ll know.’
Metro has contacted Chris Hughes’ representatives for comment.
