Christine McGuinness has said she’s open to dating men and women on the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating.
The former beauty queen, 37, who split from Paddy McGuinness in 2022 after 11 years of marriage, is flying out to Ibiza next week to film a new series of the E4 show.
Christine isn’t the only celeb set to fly out to paradise, though.
Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, Jon Lee of S Club 7 fame, and Too Hot to Handle’s Louis Russell are just a few of the famous faces lined up to star on the show.
However, while the cameras are yet to start rolling, the drama’s already begun.
A source has told The Sun that Christine is ready to move on after finalising her divorce last year.
“When she signed up to Celebs Go Dating, the production team were told she was open to dating women as well as men,’ the source said.
‘She has filmed scenes for the show already where she spoke with both women and men at a mixer -where the celebs mingle with the public who sign up for dates.
‘Christine met a woman there, and she is flying to Ibiza with her next week for more filming.
‘Taking part in a TV show about finding love is all new for Christine, but she’s just having fun and is enjoying herself.’
Ahead of her appearance on the new upcoming series, Christine spoke to the Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column and said she was ‘going to have a summer of fun’.
‘I’ve not dated much before, so I feel like I’m doing a crash course. I’m looking forward to getting to know the other celebs and the coaching side of things.’
Apparently, TV bosses are thrilled to have Christine on board, with one source telling the Sun that they think she’s going to appeal to other women in their thirties looking to get back out there after a divorce.
The same source has promised we’ll see a new side of Christine ‘as she opens up about her personal life and films coaching sessions with the show’s dating experts.’
‘Christine has been open on social media about how she found spirituality and healing in Ibiza, so she’s thrilled to be working over there.’
Filming on the show is set to begin in May ahead of its debut later this year.
