Kat Graham is sharing personal and joyful news with the world. The “Vampire Diaries” alum announced that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Bryant Wood. Kat shared the news in a December 1 Instagram carousel filled with polaroid-style photos showing her lifting her sweater to reveal her baby bump while Bryant smiled beside her and kissed her belly.

“We’re having a baby!!!” Kat captioned the post. Bryant echoed her excitement in the comments, writing, “We are ready!”

Although the 36-year-old did not reveal further details about her pregnancy, she celebrated the moment again on her Instagram Story.

She paired the photos with Rick James’ “Give It to Me Baby” and added the caption, “Baby on Board.”

Friends and Former Costars Celebrate the Pregnancy

The pregnancy news quickly drew love from friends and former costars. Nikki Reed, who is married to Kat’s “Vampire Diaries” costar Ian Somerhalder, shared, “This is so sweet, you guys. Ahhhhhh!!!! Congratulations!! Now I’m thinking about all of our special conversations from this summer, and my heart is [heart eyes emojis].”

Candice King added, “Ahhhh congratulations!!!!!!” while Nathalie Kelly wrote, “What a lucky soul to have you as her mommy.”

The Couple’s Second Wedding Marked a New Beginning

Kat and Bryant’s announcement comes three months after they tied the knot for the second time during an intimate ceremony in California in August. The pair eloped initially in 2023 and held a civil ceremony that year.

Their August wedding marked a fresh start after a difficult period for Kat, who lost her mother not long before.

In October, she reflected on the emotional meaning of the day. “It was the first time I could process family,” Kat told The Knot. “I never allowed myself that because the little I had, I lost. And then looking around, it just hit me. It was the best day.”

Bryant also shared how aligned he and Kat felt as they prepared for the future. “We are in a wonderful place now with our careers and relationship,” he said. “So, we are actively open to accepting that role as parents when God blesses us.”

With their marriage strengthened and their first child on the way, Kat and Bryant are beginning a new chapter filled with hope, healing, and joy.
