<p id=”par-1_48″>Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams’ sizzling chemistry has helped turn HBO Max’s <em>Heated Rivalry </em>into one of the year’s must-see shows. But filming the steamy drama about a clandestine romance between two rival <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/shoresy-real-nhl-players-star-hulus-new-letterkenny-spinoff.html/”>pro hockey players</a>, Shane (Williams) and Ilya (Storrie), wasn’t exactly a turn-on, Storrie recently said. </p>

<p id=”par-2_32″>Storrie was a guest on the SiriusXM podcast <a href=”https://youtu.be/fcmRc5_WmU0?si=UZAMSz7Pqumi1mJM”><em>In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele</em></a><em>. </em>He opened up about fan response to the show, which is based on a book by Rachel Reid. </p>
<p id=”par-3_47″>“It’s been crazy,” he said when Thiele asked about how he felt about clips from <em>Heated Rivalry</em>’s sex scenes circulating online. “I did not think that was going to happen at all … I’m not weird or really even that interested or excited by nudity on camera.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_124″>“I was there,” Storrie added of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/jacob-elordi-admits-struggled-intimacy-coordinator-euphoria-season-1.html/”>filming the show’s intimate scenes</a>. “I remember pretty much being naked with Hudson and doing this choreography and it being really like, becoming really unsexy. It’s a very unsexy process, so for me, I watch that and I’m like, ‘Yeah, I remember having to hold him a certain way this way so it looks better on camera,’ and I remember being like, ‘OK, don’t open your legs too much to show your pouch and don’t do this,’ and also with my performance art and stuff, I do a lot of pretty wacky, out there things, so being exposed physically and being exposed in the act is not very, I’m not squeamish or uncomfortable or weird about that stuff.”</p>

<p id=”par-5_26″>Storrie also opened up about his instant chemistry with Williams, which was immediately apparently when the pair had a reading over Zoom during the audition process. </p>
<p id=”par-6_26″>“We’re kind of just like soulmates, you know? You know those people that you just instantly click with and you’re like, ‘OK, you’re mine,’” he said. </p>
<p id=”par-7_54″><strong>‘</strong>We just looked at each other and just kind of did nothing, and then kind of just laughed, and then that started the scene … so at that point, I was just like, ‘Oh, we’re doing the same thing. We’re making the same show. We’re on the same page.’ Yeah, that’s cool,” Storrie recalled. </p>
<p id=”par-8_17″>What’s behind Storrie’s bond with his co-star? The pair are simply on the same wavelength, he said. </p>
<p id=”par-9_57″>“I mean, and chemistry is such a weird thing because there’s not really an explanation for it,” Storrie shared. “I mean, everyone’s like, ‘How did you get that chemistry? Where did that come from?’ and I’m like, We were at the same place in life. We like the same stuff. I think we had the same values.”</p>
