Cruz Beckham has reached out to his brother Brooklyn Beckham in a public display of affection, the first we’ve seen since the family feud was revealed.

The youngest Beckham son, 20 – after Brooklyn, 26, and Romeo, 23 – appears to be extending an olive branch across the Atlantic Ocean, having previously seemingly taking social media swipes at his big brother.

Budding musician Cruz, who just released a record to hard launch his career in the biz, delved into his Instagram tile history to 2021 and shared a picture posted that August to his stories of him, dad David Beckham, Romeo and Brooklyn standing together looking happy.

In the caption of the old post, Cruz had said: ‘❤️love you guys,’ tagging Brooklyn, David and Romeo.

This was a year before a family feud reportedly kicked off around Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz’s wedding in April 2022.

At the time, reports emerged that Nicola had refused to wear one of Victoria Beckham’s designs for the big day.

‘No family is perfect. No family,’ she told the Sunday Times in October that year, explaining that she, her mother, Victoria, and her longtime stylist were in a text chain discussing bridal designer ideas.

Victoria reportedly messaged Nicola’s mother to say her atelier wouldn’t be able to make the dress in time, and so they regrouped and ‘came up with something else’.

Whether the wedding drama was deep or not is unclear, but ever since Nicola and Brooklyn have grown palpably apart from the rest of the Beckhams.

This became apparent when the famous family celebrated David’s 50th birthday, with Brooklyn notably absent from the party, as well as a ‘boys’ fishing trip after, attended by his brothers and father.

Brooklyn also remained silent on Father’s Day and did not mention the former footballer’s knighthood on social media, but fueled further speculation when he later posted a sweet message for his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, on his birthday.

While sources told Metro both parties were keen to patch things up, this didn’t appear to happen, hinted by Brooklyn’s social media post saying he would always ‘choose [Nicola]’.

He wrote: ‘My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.’

In response, Cruz posted a message dedicated to his mum, dad, and siblings on his own Instagram story, saying: ‘I love my family, I love you guys more than anything, mum & dad you gave us life and cared for us no matter what, I cannot tell you how blessed we all are to have you in our lives x.’

Cruz appeared to send out a number of indirect jibes as the feud rumbled on.

In June, he replied to a social media troll who asked him scornfully if he was going to stick to his music or change careers again, to which Cruz replied, ‘Wrong brother mate,’ in an apparent nod to Brooklyn, who has famously rattled through a few different career paths at his young age.

Cruz has also previously shared cryptic posts to his social media, writing ‘the truth will unfold’ alongside a clip of The Beatles’ 1969 song The End on his Story.

Cruz even posted one of his mum Victoria Beckham’s own songs, her 2001 tune Every Part of Me.

‘I promise I’ll be here if someone ever breaks your heart,’ she sings at one point.

In another bit of the song, the former Spice Girls icon croons: ‘I’ve seen how easy things can change. And people never stay the same…

‘I think you should know that people gonna come and go. Be assured of this one thing: I will still remain.

‘I know that there will come a day when you have to go away. But you have no reason to fear; I promise I’ll be here if someone ever breaks your heart.’

Aside from various social media prods, there’s been some much bigger blows for the Beckhams’ internal relations over the past few months.

Things took a bad turn when it was revealed Brooklyn had covered up a tattoo saying ‘mama’s boy’ which was dedicated to former Spice Girl Victoria, and the biggest snub of all happened three years on from the couple’s wedding day.

In August Nicola and Brooklyn renewed their vows, with her family present – and father Nelson officiating the ceremony – but without a Beckham in sight.

A source told The Sun: ‘This was the final kick in the teeth for David and Victoria. Seeing Nelson having such a pivotal role at the ceremony was heartbreaking for David especially. Not one member of the 30-plus extended family knew about the wedding, or were invited.’
