The birthday wishes for Harper Beckham have been flooding in as she celebrates turning 15 – but one message in particular felt somewhat shady.
Aspiring beauty guru Harper has been showered with love from parents David and Victoria on her special day, despite reportedly feeling ‘heartbroken’ in the lead-up, as big brother Brooklyn is no longer speaking to her.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that the budding chef, 27, had created a ‘difficult scenario’ for the teen, who feared he was about to ‘ignore [her]’ on her birthday.
The hot sauce peddler was always close to Harper, as was his wife, Nicola Peltz, 31, who even thought of her as a sibling of her own and said she felt ‘blessed’ to have such a ‘perfect, dream little sister’ in her life.
And now, as extended members of the Beckham brood take to social media for Harper’s bday, it seems one future sister-in-law is making a subtle dig.
On Instagram, Jackie Apostel, 30, shared a series of snaps of herself with Harper, the first being them hugging in front of a stunning sunset.
Other pics showed the musician out for dinner with the youngest Beckham child and posing at lavish events.
In her caption, Jackie emphasised her bond with the now 15-year-old and proved how close they’ve become in the two years since she began dating Cruz, 21.
‘happiest birthday sweet @harperbeckham 🩷 I can’t believe I just get a built in bestie. I love watching you become the incredible person ur meant to be a little more every single day. loooooove uuu’, she wrote.
In the comments, fans were living for their sweet relationship, with @leonatierney writing: ‘This sister in law she needs 😍’

Neither Nicola nor Brooklyn has shared a public birthday wish for Harper, which is a real 180 from last year.
As Harper turned 14, the married couple shared a throwback photo with her, writing, ‘Happy birthday harper we love u x’ on top.
Just a year prior, the Lola actress said in an interview with People: ‘If I could create the perfect dream little sister, it’s her.
‘I’m so blessed I get to have her as my little sister in my life.’
Fast forward to 2026, however, and Nicola has been throwing shade of her own. After her brother, Will Peltz, 40, married Kenya Kinski-Jones, 33, the heiress penned on Insta: ‘Willy, thank you for finally and officially giving me my dream sister, Ken.’
Sources later claimed that Harper felt ‘devastated’ knowing she’d be marking her 15th without Brooklyn there.
‘They were so close. Now he won’t speak to her, and she can’t understand why. There is nothing worse for Harper than him ignoring her on her birthday,’ an insider told the Daily Mail, adding that ‘it is so horrifying and awful for David and Victoria to see’.
This came just weeks after David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, which saw his family jet to the States to celebrate the unveiling, after which Harper was papped outside Brooklyn’s home, attempting to hand-deliver a letter. He was away at the time.
When she didn’t get a response, she left swiftly, leading to Brooklyn’s camp hitting out, with a rep telling Metro: ‘That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.’
Retaliating, a source for the Beckhams later added: ‘This is clearly nonsense and just another untrue and unfair accusation.’
Still, David and Victoria are keeping up their united front and took to their own social pages to celebrate their little girl today.
Former footie star David, 51, became emotional over his ‘pretty lady’ growing up, adding: ‘You are the perfect daughter , sweet , kind & a beautiful human with the best personality just like daddy 😂 we love you so much and we are all so lucky to have you in our lives , have the best day ever 🩷’
He ended the post with a ‘thank you’ to wife Victoria, who commented a string of red hearts.
Meanwhile, the Spice Girls icon, 52 – who has inspired Harper to venture into the world of modelling and beauty – wrote that she ‘cannot even begin to express how much’ she ‘adores’ her daughter and how ‘incredibly proud’ she is of her.
‘It has been the greatest joy to see you blossom into a young lady,’ penned the designer. ‘You are a kind, gentle, funny and beautiful soul, inside and out! You are my best friend and you inspire me every day!!
‘I love you more than I could ever put into words and I am so grateful to be your mummy! Happy Birthday ❤️’
Her post showed photos of Harper throughout the years, including one of them sleeping in bed together and another of the teenager doing her makeup.
Harper, who has her own Insta account, which is private and has just 123 followers, commented underneath: ‘I love you so much x’
Other birthday wishes for Harper included one from 23-year-old brother Romeo, who posted a recent selfie and a pic of Harper as a toddler. He wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to the most beautiful person in the world I love you so much.’
‘harper i love you more than you know, happy 15th birthday xx’, Cruz wrote, too, alongside a pic of Harper backstage meeting Taylor Swift.
