Dave Grohl and his wife Jordyn Blum have made their first public appearance together since his affair revelations – stepping out at Wimbledon.
The American musician, 56, rose to fame as the drummer in 1990s grunge band Nirvana before forming internationally popular rock band Foo Fighters.
Grohl shocked fans in 2024 after admitting to cheating on wife of 22 years Blum, 49, and fathering a child outside of wedlock with 38-year-old Jennifer Young.
Divorce attorneys were reportedly called into action and then called off, with Grohl and Blum apparently keen to work through their relationship problems.
And those problems appeared to be at the very back of their minds as they made their first public appearance since the affair revelations at the Wimbledon tennis championships.
The annual meeting is the oldest tennis competition in the world and attracts celebrities from around the globe to sample in some sunshine, strawberries, and world class sport.
Grohl and Blum put on a united front and were more than dressed for the occasion, with the renowned drummer opting for a navy blue suit and a pale purple tie at the event today.
Blum opted for a light pink suit jacket and flared trousers, while both of them chose to wear oversized sunglasses for the tennis tournament which has seen temperatures north of 30 degrees Celsius since starting on Monday.
It marked quite the change from the last time the pair were publicly spotted together, which was at the 2024 Wimbledon championships.
A TikTok clip featuring Grohl and a reporter went viral after he appeared to get a little snippy when asked questions about who would win the tennis tournament.
Dave refused to speak to the sports journalist who simply asked him who might win Wimbledon, with others putting his avoidance down to a lack of tennis knowledge.
Asked for his predicted Wimbledon winners, the former Queens of the Stone Age drummer responded with a ‘What?’ before adding that he had ‘no clue’ who would win the men’s final.
When asked about the women’s final instead, he kept his cards similarly close to his chest and only revealed that he ‘couldn’t say’ who might win.
The two were all smiles on that occasion despite what was occurring behind closed doors, and the pair looked similarly proud to be alongside each other this year too.
Grohl and Blum were married in 2003 and share three daughters – Violet who was born in 2006, Harper who was born in 2009, and Ophelia who was born in 2014.
While this is the first time the two have been spotted together at a public event since deciding to give their marriage another go, it’s the second time they’ve been seen out and about.
They wore smiles on their faces out in Los Angeles during a sighting in March. While they were not holding hands, they did walk close to one another and seemed relaxed in the other’s company.
