The longtime couple stepped out at BMO Stadium in support of Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission. <p id=”par-2_75″>The Hope in the City of Angels charity gala celebrated Dave Grohl for his work providing meals to LA’s unhoused population. Receiving the “Ordinary Hero Award,” the 56-year-old pledged $100,000 to the cause in front of the large crowd. Previously, the Foo Fighters frontman had showed up to Hope the Mission with his meat smoker. He proceeded to cook ribs and brisket for 50 staff members and 450 of those in need of a meal.</p>
<p id=”par-3_97″>Jordyn Blum attended the gala <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/dave-grohls-infidelity-led-to-his-first-divorce.html/”>in support of Grohl</a>, marking one of their first outings together since news of Grohl’s baby outside their marriage made headlines. About one year prior, Grohl had obtained a divorce attorney and announced that he’d welcomed a baby outside of his marriage. Now, he and his wife of 21 years appear back on track, with a source telling <a href=”https://people.com/dave-grohl-jordyn-blum-make-first-red-carpet-appearance-since-musician-secret-baby-reveal-11832662″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a>, “She’s forgiven him. They never wanted a divorce though — the idea of splitting up their family was too sad for both of them. They love their girls and they’re both great parents.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_33″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/dave-grohl-explained-sketchy-birth-of-his-oldest-daughter.html/”>Grohl and Blum share three daughters</a>: Violet, 19, Harper, 16, and Ophelia, 11. <p id=”par-8_27″>The identity of the mother went public shortly afterward. Jennifer Young, a LA-based film-industry professional, confirmed her identity and asked Grohl’s fans to respect her daughter’s privacy.</p>
<p id=”par-9_47″>The disclosure of this fourth child “outside his marriage” generated significant media attention and reportedly placed serious strain on Grohl’s family life. According to sources, Blum was emotionally rocked by the revelation. Friends said she stopped wearing her wedding ring and “didn’t trust” Grohl for a time.</p>
