David Harbour’s next role has been revealed following claims that he ‘bullied and harassed’ his co-star Millie Bobby Brown while on the set of Stranger Things.

The fifth and final season of the Netflix TV series is set to air later this year, with Harbour playing Chief of Police Jim Hopper, and Brown playing his pseudo-daughter, Eleven.

As the series draws to a final conclusion, it has been reported that the two actors have clashed on set.

The Mail on Sunday revealed that Harbour, 50, faced an internal enquiry after Brown, 21, allegedly complained about his behaviour towards her.

A source told the outlet: ‘Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.’

The allegations, combined with the recent fallout from his marriage to Lily Allen, left some fans wondering about Harbour’s future in Hollywood amid all the controversy.

But it seems that question has now been answered, as Harbour has been cast in a new true-crime drama titled Evil Genius, set to be directed by Friends star Courteney Cox.

Written by Courtenay Miles, the work is inspired by the true-crime documentary series from Barbara Schroeder and Trey Borzillieri.

Harbour will star alongside Patricia Arquette, Michael Chernus, Garrett Dillahunt, Danielle Macdonald, Tom McCarthy, Gregory Alan Williams, Ryan Eggold, Owen Teague, and Harlow Jane.

‘I’ve been fascinated by Evil Genius since I first saw the documentary,’ shared Cox via Deadline.

‘It’s stranger than fiction. At moments darkly funny and yet deeply emotional. A story about love, loneliness, manipulation, and the people on the fringes who get pulled into something much bigger than themselves.’

Production is currently underway in New Jersey, US, meaning Harbour is far away from Allen, spotted recently in London, as she continues to bask in the rave reviews for her new album West End Girl.

As Lily explores themes such as cheating, sex addiction, and open relationships, shocking lyrics include references to an ‘arrangement’ between the former spouses, who allegedly agreed to sleep with other people, but they had to be ‘strangers.’

Lily also tears into a mystery woman, whom she names ‘Madeline’, suggesting David had an affair with someone his wife knew well.

In the aftermath of the album’s release, fans have taken over social media with their reactions, noting the apt timing of its drop, given that the album was released just weeks before the actor’s fifth season of Stranger Things drops on Netflix, and fans are wondering how David might respond.
