Denise Welch leaves Loose Women co-star mortified with NSFW gift

Denise Welch gave a special gift to Loose Women co-star Linda Robson, who had quite the reaction.

After discovering that Linda had never owned a sex toy during a dressing room chat, Denise couldn’t let that continue and decided to take matters into her own hands.

She went above and beyond to make sure her friend could experience a… *ahem* good time. The 65-year-old purchased Linda’s first vibrator and gifted it to her ITV colleague with no pre-warning.

‘When she gave it to me, I was like, “What the hell do I do with this?”‘ Linda recalled.

However, instead of reading the instruction manual or heading to Metro’s sex section, Linda, 65, got rid of it due to a fear of being found out.

She added to OK!: ‘What if the kids find it?! So I ended up giving it away.’

Of course, there is no shame in owning a toy and Linda, if you do repurchase then the back of your underwear drawer is always a good location.

The Birds Of A Feather actress doesn’t have much interest in ‘jiggy jiggy’ right now anyway after announcing her split from husband-of-33-years Mark Dunford, the father of her two children – Louis and Roberta. She also has a daughter Lauren from a previous relationship.

‘I don’t need a man. I have my friends and family. I’m not interested in any of that jiggy jiggy,’ she said.

The always-honest Linda revealed on Loose Women last year that she’d actually abstained from sex for a while.

‘Can I just say I’ve been celibate for two years,’ she admitted while discussing the topic of sex breaks.

Linda is set to release her memoir, Truth Be Told: Tales from a Baggy Mouth on February 15, and as the title suggested, it will be equally candid.

She is open about her mental health illness which began in 2008, when her son Louis had been out with a friend the night he was stabbed and died at the scene.

Linda reveals that she would try and eat oranges to cover the smell of alcohol on her breath, and took a toothbrush with her wherever she went, but now knows how impossible it was to disguise.
