In the wake of Diane Keaton’s heartbreaking death, many who knew her or simply admired her from afar are sharing their memories on social media. After learning of Keaton’s death at the age of 79 on October 11, a former trainer of hers shared a memory that fans will surely adore.
Diane Keaton Attended Cycling Classes in Her Legendary Style of Clothing
Trainer Adam Goldstein shared a cute photo and fun memory about Keaton via his Instagram page. He explained that he used to teach cycling classes in West Hollywood, and Keaton showed up for class with her daughter, Dexter, nearly every Saturday.
Goldstein noted that Keaton was “one of the kindest, funniest, and down to earth people I have ever met in my life.” He acknowledged that “Everyone was very much aware that she was in the room. Of course because of who she was.”
However, Goldstein added, there was another reason everybody always knew she was in class on any given Saturday. He explained, “She did the class in her hat, sunglasses, pinstriped outfit, and was an absolute riot the entire time.”
One person asked in a comment if what Keaton wore in the photo Goldstein shared was said workout ensemble. He replied, “Yes this was her outfit and it was everything.”
Fans Found the Story About Keaton’s Workouts Adorable
Goldstein also shared that Keaton was “even more endearing in person than on screen which doesn’t even seem possible.” He admitted that “Sometimes (in LA especially) you meet someone you admire and they might let you down.” That didn’t happen with Keaton, he noted.
The trainer thanked Keaton for “bringing joy into so many people’s homes,” and added, “Thank you for bringing so much joy into a spin studio on Santa Monica blvd in West Hollywood!”
One person noted they were next to Keaton one day in one of those classes, and she shared that she would “always remember how bubbly and sweet she was.”
“I bumped into her three times in LA and each meeting was so special and funny and lovely like she was,” another of Keaton’s fans commented.
“I love that she even did cycling in her full uniform,” added another fan, who included a sad-faced emoji.
An additional fan wrote, “That is the best and most revealing story I have heard about her. Thank you for sharing!”
“It’s amazing she stayed true to her style, even in a spin class – just too funny, quirky & endearing,” someone else commented.
