Sometimes, though, she found the winners a bit surprising. Parton once called the winners “pigs.”</p>

People <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/dolly-parton-always-wore-tight-clothes-school.html/”>don tight clothing</a>, blonde wigs, and bright makeup, and compete to see who looks the most like the country singer. Parton said she finds them fun, not insulting.</p>

The best parts of Dolly Parton look-alike contests are guys dressed up like girls. It’s so <em>easy</em> to do me.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_26″>Parton has even gone to some of the contests and met with the winners. In an insult to both them and herself, Parton called them “pigs.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_56″>“They were the biggest bunch of pigs I ever saw, most of them,” she said. “I thought to myself, Is that how people think I look? I thought, Oh, Lord, some of them were in worse shape than I even thought I was. I’ve only seen two that would even be classified as a human being.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_18″>In later years, though, Parton joked that the winners were prettier than she could ever hope to be.</p>
