We should have known Dua Lipa’s low-key town hall wedding wouldn’t be the end of our holiday queen’s celebrations, as she’s set to take over Sicily.
Callum Turner, 36, and the pop star, 30, said ‘I do’ in an intimate ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in London on Sunday, with just eight guests in attendance.
Dua brought some old-school glamour with her bridal ivory skirt suit, custom-made by Schiaparelli, which featured a nude lace bodice under the jacket.
Her new husband rocked a double-breasted Ferragamo suit in navy, with matching shirt and tie – looking every inch the 007 he’s rumoured to be.
The intimate ceremony is only the start of the A-list couple’s celebrations, with a three-day event planned in Palermo, Sicily, still on the horizon.
According to The Sun, Dua and Callum are shutting down squares in the city with their wedding planner handing out NDAs to residents.
A source said: ‘It’s all very, very off limits. It’s top secret. The security is private but the local police are involved with the organisation of the event.
‘The squares they are going to close off are already pedestrian zones with no traffic.
‘Officials have made up this “demonstration production in the square” in Piazza Sant’Anna and Piazza dei Vespri as an excuse to put up barriers and keep pedestrians out.’
The huge party will reportedly start on Friday, with drinks by the Palazzo Gangi as well as hosting at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna.
Of course, a wedding wouldn’t be complete without music and none other than Dua’s good friend Sir Elton John is rumoured to be performing.
The Sun reports the guests will then head over to the 17th-century Villa Valguarnera estate in Bagheria for the main ceremony – you might recognise the venue from The White Lotus opening credits.
Traffic limitations are already in place and will run until June 8, according to local news outlets.
It’s thought around 300 stars will descend on the city for the celebrations, including Olivia Dean, Charli XCX and Mark Ronson, who Dua performed with at the Brit Awards.
Donaella Versace will also attend and is rumoured to be designing the New Rules singer’s second dress, with Dua flying to Italy to finalise details.
A source previously revealed: ‘Dua and Callum have put together the most incredible itinerary for their celebrations in Sicily.
‘The last-minute preparations have been hectic — and she’s been back and forth to Italy for dress fittings — but it’s all coming together perfectly.’

They added that it was to be a ‘true fairytale wedding’, with the couple ‘renting out multiple huge venues for the multi-event extravaganza’.
The big bash comes after their intimate ceremony, at which Callum was said to have been so in awe of his blushing bride that he was ‘shaking’.
‘This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling,’ Dua previously told Vogue about the engagement.
Dua walked down the aisle alongside her parents, Dukagjin and Anesa, as well as her sister Rina and brother Gjin, who watched on.
After the town hall, the newlyweds, who have been together for two and a half years, then enjoyed a private dinner with their closest friends and family.
