Ed Sheeran has enlisted Harry Potter star Rupert Grint to once again star in a music video, after he was the centrepiece of the iconic Lego House video 14 years ago.

The popstar, 34, shared details for the upcoming video for his new song A Little More – and included a teaser featuring his lookalike friend in on the fun.

Playing on their doppelganger looks, Grint, 36, last featured in the Brit singer’s 2011 Lego House video, which went on to become the singer’s most iconic visual.

In the 14-year-old video, Grunt subbed in for Sheeran, mouthing the lyrics to his song, as he played a stalker who was taken into custody after breaking into the singer’s tour bus and trying to impersonate him onstage.

Sheeran shared a teaser for the new song A Little More, which seems to feature Grint reprising the role of the singer’s stalker, after he has been released from prison.

What happens next remains to be seen – the music video is set to arrive this Thursday (August 7).

Sharing the teaser, Sheeran wrote in the caption: ‘14 years later me and Rupert Grint are reunited. I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully Rupert was up for it.

‘It’s an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song. Think this one is gonna be a lot of people’s fav song from Play. Out Thursday, watch out for more stuff coming x.’

In the comments section, Sheeran’s fans were delighted over the reunion. @Sheeran_lisa wrote: ‘I don’t think ever been this excited for a music video in my entire life.’

‘Lego House is one of my favouritesss 🥺 super excited for a little more!!!?!,’ added @_notaaryan_.

Others were left hugely nostalgic over the link up from one of Sheeran’s most poignant songs, with @stadium.heights writing: ‘Been feeling a lot of 2011 nostalgia this year and I love that this will feed into it.’

Superjules69 added: ‘I love that your head went there & Rupert had unfinished business 😂😂 can’t wait to see the video, A Little More already my fave!!’

The pair have played on the lookalike over the years, with Grint once pretending to be the singer on MTV. Grint has said they are indeed mistaken for one another by fans on the street.

‘It is kind of 50/50 now,’ Grint said in 2017 on The Late Late Show With James Corden. ‘Someone stops me, it could go either way.’
